یہ رہ عشق ہے ، اس راہ پہ گر جائے گا تو
ایک دیوار کھڑی ہو گی جدھر جائے گا تو
شور دنیا کو تو سن ، رنگ رہ یار تو دیکھ
ہم جہاں خاک اڑاتے ہیں ادھر جائے گا تو
در بہ در ہے تو کہیں جی نہیں لگتا ہو گا
وہ بھی دن آئے گا ، تھک ہار کے گھر جائے گا تو
عازم ہجر مسلسل ہوا جس مٹی سے
لوٹ آئے گا یہیں ، اور کدھر جائے گا تو
جان جائے گا کہ منزل نہیں موجود کہیں
خوش گماں ہے ابھی سر گرم سفر جائے گا تو
آرزو رکھ اسے پانے کی کوئی روز ابھی
پھر یہیں بام تمنا سے اتر جائے گا تو
یہ جو طوفان ترے گرد ہے دیوانگی کا
اک ذرا تیز ہوا اور بکھر جائے گا تو
کارواں گرد ہوا ،چپ ہوئی آواز جرس
کیا اب اس سمت کو تا حد نظر جائے گا تو
