سنی ہے اس نے نہ اپنی کبھی سنائی ہے

سنی ہے اس نے نہ اپنی کبھی سنائی ہے

ہمارے بیچ فقط اک یہی لڑائی ہے

کسی نے خود سے تراشا ہے اس کو تھوڑا بہت

کسی کے واسطے دنیا بنی بنائی ہے

بھلے یہ سر ہی کٹے پر کہیں جبیں نہ جھکے

ہمارے پرکھوں نے دولت یہی کمائی ہے

یہ زندگی یہ خوشی اور غم بھی تم بانٹو

تمہارے پاس تو ویسے بھی کل خدائی ہے

منیبؔ ایسے زمانے میں ہوں اتارا گیا

جہاں ملال ہے ماتم ہے نارسائی ہے

suni hai us ne na apni kabhi sunai hai
hamare beach faqat ek yahi laDai hai

kisi ne KHud se tarasha hai us ko thoDa bahut
kisi ke waste duniya bani-banai hai

bhale ye sar hi kaTe par kahin jabin na jhuke
hamare purkhon ne daulat yahi kamai hai

ye zindagi ye KHushi aur gham bhi tum banTo
tumhaare pas to waise bhi kul KHudai hai

'munib' aise zamane mein hun utara gaya
jahan malal hai matam hai na-rasai hai
