آرزو لکھنوی

آج بے آپ ہو گئے ہم بھی

آپ کو پا کے کھو گئے ہم بھی

دانے کم تھے دکھوں کی سمرن میں

تھوڑے موتی پرو گئے ہم بھی

دیر سے تھے وہ جس کے گھیرے میں

اسی جھرمٹ میں کھو گئے ہم بھی

جا کے ڈھونڈا کہاں کہاں نہ تمہیں

جب نہ پایا تو کھو گئے ہم بھی

نام جینے کا جاگنا رکھ کر

آج بے نیند سو گئے ہم بھی

روئیں گے گر تو جگ ہنسائی ہو

کرتے کیا چپ سے ہو گئے ہم بھی

ہائے رے آرزوؔ کی بے آسی

آپ بے بس تھے رو گئے ہم بھی
