ہوا کے لب پہ نئے انتساب سے کچھ ہیں
عذرا وحید
ہوا کے لب پہ نئے انتساب سے کچھ ہیں
کہ شاخ وصل پہ تازہ گلاب سے کچھ ہیں
یہ پل کا قصہ ہے صدیوں پہ جو محیط رہا
بر آب ساعت گزراں حباب سے کچھ ہیں
ہجوم ہم کو سر آنکھوں پہ کیوں بٹھائے رہا
دل و نظر پہ ہمارے عذاب سے کچھ ہیں
لہو رلاتے ہیں اور پھر بھی یاد آتے ہیں
محبتوں کے پرانے نصاب سے کچھ ہیں
اترتے رہتے ہیں آنکھوں کے آئنوں پہ سدا
کتاب خستہ میں گم گشتہ باب سے کچھ ہیں
سوائے تشنگی کچھ اور دے سکے نہ ہمیں
جو زیر آب چمکتے سراب سے کچھ ہیں
مدام ان کو چمکنا بغیر خوف فنا
یہ آسمان پہ جو بے حساب سے کچھ ہیں

ye pal ka qissa hai sadiyon pe jo muhit raha
bar-ab saat-e-guzaran habab se kuchh hain
hujum hum ko sar aankhon pe kyun biThae raha
dil-o-nazar pe hamare azab se kuchh hain
lahu rulate hain aur phir bhi yaad aate hain
mohabbaton ke purane nisab se kuchh hain
utarte rahte hain aankhon ke aainon pe sada
kitab-e-KHasta mein gum-gashta bab se kuchh hain
siwae tishnagi kuchh aur de sake na hamein
jo zer-e-ab chamakte sarab se kuchh hain
mudam un ko chamakna baghair KHauf-e-fana
ye aasman pe jo be-hisab se kuchh hain
