ہجر میں جاگیر عیش مجنوں ہوئی تھی تغیر

وصل کے دیوان نے پھر کے بحالی کیا

گلشن عشرت کا وہ کیوں نہ نظارہ کرے

تجھ چمن حسن کا دل کوں جو مالی کیا

بوسہ اسے دے جواب یو ہے جو اب صواب

تجھ انگے داؤدؔ نے لب کوں سوالی کیا
