اُٹھا کے چاک سے کیا کیا بنا دیئے گئے ہم

کہیں پہ خِشت کی صورت لگا دیئے گئے ہم

خیال و خواب سے آگے کی بات کرتے تھے

سو اِک کہانی کا حصہ بنا دیئے گئے ہم

کبھی کبھی تو ہماری ردائیں جلتی رہِیں

کبھی کبھی تو سرا سر مٹا دیئے گئے ہم

بنامِ مہروفا اور بنامِ رسم و رواج

کہیں بٹھائے کہیں سے اُٹھا دیئے گئے ہم

بس ایک بات پہ جاگی ہیں غیرتیں کیا کیا

ونی ہوئے کبھی کاری کرا دیئے گئے ہم

حنوط کر کے کبھی صورتیں نہ یاد رہِیں

عجائبات میں لا کر سجا دیئے گئے ہم
