نشہ سا آ گیا سمندر کو

ڈولتی ڈگمگاتی سی ناؤ

پی گئی آ کے سارے ساگر کو

خشک پیڑوں میں جان پڑنے لگی

دیکھ کر روپ کے سمندر کو

بحر پیاسے کی جستجو میں ہے

ہے صدف کی تلاش گوہر کو

کوئی تو نیم وا دریچوں سے
