دیکھا تجھے تو آنکھوں نے ایواں سجا لیے

جیسے تمام کھوئے ہوئے خواب پا لیے

جتنے تھے تیرے مہکے ہوئے آنچلوں کے رنگ

سب تتلیوں نے اور دھنک نے اڑا لیے

ایسی گھٹی فضاؤں میں کیسے جئیں گے وہ

کچھ قافلے جو آئے ہیں تازہ ہوا لیے

ان سر پھری ہواؤں سے کچھ آشنا تو ہوں

گہرے سمندروں میں نہ کشتی کو ڈالیے

اظہار کیجیے کہ ذرا کرب کم تو ہو

اے دوستو دکھوں کو دلوں میں نہ پالیے

خود ہی اٹھائیں اپنے جنوں کی جراحتیں

یہ روگ دوسروں کے نہ کھاتے میں ڈالیے

پہلے یہ کوہسار تو تسخیر کیجیے

فارغؔ ابھی فلک پہ کمندیں نہ ڈالیے
