زرد ذائقہ

فوزیہ فاروقی

ہم عورتیں ایک دوسرے کی دشمن ہیں

مگر سب نہیں

تم ہم سب سے محبت کرتے ہو

مگر ہمیشہ نہیں

موسم کس قدر جلد بیت جاتے ہیں

اور محبتیں اس سے بھی جلد

اب یہ بھی گزرے زمانے کی بات ہے

جب میرے چہرے کی رنگت اور تمہاری آنکھوں کے رنگ کے درمیان

ایک بے نام رشتہ تھا

اور میرا سراپا پس منظر کو معدوم کر دیتا تھا

فاصلے نے مجھے منظر نامے کے ایک نقطۂ محض میں تبدیل کر دیا ہے

اور تم

مجھے خانوں میں تقسیم کرنا سیکھ رہے ہو

آہ میرے باغوں کے بیر سرخ ہیں

اور زرد ذائقوں کی جستجو

تمہارے حلق کو کھٹا کر رہی ہے

hum aurten ek dusre ki dushman hain
magar sab nahin
tum hum sab se mohabbat karte ho
magar hamesha nahin
mausam kis qadar jald bit jate hain
aur mohabbaten us se bhi jald
ab ye bhi guzre zamane ki baat hai
jab mere chehre ki rangat aur tumhaari aankhon ke rang ke darmiyan
ek be-nam rishta tha
aur mera sarapa pas-e-manzar ko madum kar deta tha
fasle ne mujhe manzar-name ke ek nuqta-e-mahz mein tabdil kar diya hai
aur tum
mujhe KHanon mein taqsim karna sikh rahe ho
aah mere baghon ke ber surKH hain
aur zard zaiqon ki justuju
tumhaare halaq ko khaTTa kar rahi hai
