زندگی مرگ کی مہلت ہی سہی

غلام مولیٰ قلق

زندگی مرگ کی مہلت ہی سہی

بہر واماندہ اقامت ہی سہی

دوستی وجہ عداوت ہی سہی

دشمنی بہر رفاقت ہی سہی

طول دیتے ہو عداوت کو کیوں

مختصر قصۂ الفت ہی سہی

رکھ کسی وضع سے احسان کی خو

مجھ کو آزار سے راحت ہی سہی

آپ کا بھی نہیں چھٹتا دامن

میرے در پہ مری شامت ہی سہی

عاقبت حشر کو آنا اک دن

روٹھ جانا تری عادت ہی سہی

کچھ بھی اے بخت میسر ہے تجھے

یا تجسس سے فراغت ہی سہی

کوچۂ غیر میں چل کر رہیے

گر نہیں عیش تو حسرت ہی سہی

یہی تقریب ستم ہو اے کاش

ہر طرح غیر سے نفرت ہی سہی

اب تو اٹھ آئے لحد سے بے تاب

نہ سہی چال قیامت ہی سہی

یادگاری کی کوئی بات تو ہو

موت اپنی تری رخصت ہی سہی

عدل و انصاف قیامت معلوم

آہ و فریاد کی فرصت ہی سہی

اے قلقؔ شکر ستم بے جا کیوں

آہ و فریاد کی فرصت ہی سہی
