گرم لاشیں گریں فصیلوں سے

آسماں بھر گیا ہے چیلوں سے

سولی چڑھنے لگی ہے خاموشی

لوگ آئے ہیں سن کے میلوں سے

کان میں ایسے اتری سرگوشی

برف پھسلی ہو جیسے ٹیلوں سے

گونج کر ایسے لوٹتی ہے صدا

کوئی پوچھے ہزاروں میلوں سے

پیاس بھرتی رہی مرے اندر

آنکھ ہٹتی نہیں تھی جھیلوں سے

لوگ کندھے بدل بدل کے چلے

گھاٹ پہنچے بڑے وسیلوں سے
