حکیم آغا جان عیش

دل بتوں سے نہ لگانا ہرگز

ان کے پھندے میں نہ آنا ہرگز

دل تجھے اپنی ہے گر جان عزیز

کوئے قاتل میں نہ جانا ہرگز

مانگ بیٹھا وہ تو دل دینے میں

نہیں بننے کا بہانا ہرگز

عندلیبان چمن کو صیاد

فصل گل میں نہ ستانا ہرگز

شکوۂ یار زباں پر اپنی

دل خبردار نہ لانا ہرگز

ہدف تیر نگاہ قاتل

مرغ دل کو نہ بنانا ہرگز

اس سے وابستہ ہیں دل لاکھوں کے

زلف میں کھینچو نہ شانا ہرگز

رہنے دیتا نہیں انسان کو یاں

اک وطیرے پہ زمانا ہرگز

انقلاب اس میں ہے دم دم اے دل

اس کا افسوس نہ کھانا ہرگز

گر خدا دے تجھے توفیق اے عیشؔ

دل کسی کا نہ دکھانا ہرگز
