ابھی سے قدم ڈگمگانے لگے ہیں
غم زندگی جب سنانے لگے ہیں
بنانے میں ہم کو زمانے لگے ہیں
بجھانے میں جس کو زمانے لگے ہیں
وہیں آگ پھر سے لگانے لگے ہیں
ذرا آگے بڑھ کے دیا اک جلاؤ
اندھیرے بہت اب ستانے لگے ہیں
نتیجہ شرافت کا ہوتا یہی ہے
سبھی آج انگلی اٹھانے لگے ہیں
