فصیل شکر میں ہیں صبر کے حصار میں ہیں

جہاں گزر نہیں غم کا ہم اس دیار میں ہیں

ہمیں اجال دے پھر دیکھ اپنے جلووں کو

ہم آئنہ ہیں مگر پردۂ غبار میں ہیں

جلا کے مشعلیں چلتے تو ہوتے منزل پر

وہ قافلے جو سویرے کے انتظار میں ہیں

ہے اختیار ہمیں کائنات پر حاصل

سوال یہ ہے کہ ہم کس کے اختیار میں ہیں

hamein ujal de phir dekh apne jalwon ko
hum aaina hain magar parda-e-ghubar mein hain

jala ke mishalen chalte to hote manzil par
wo qafile jo sawere ke intizar mein hain

hai iKHtiyar hamein kaenat par hasil
sawal ye hai ki hum kis ke iKHtiyar mein hain
