اس نے مجھ سے غلط بیانی کی

یہ علامت بھی ہے جوانی کی

صرف آنکھیں ہی نم نہیں کرتا

خوبیاں اور بھی ہیں پانی کی

آپ کو نیند آ رہی ہے کیا

ابتدا ہے ابھی کہانی کی

ہاں چھپا کر تو رکھ دیا لیکن

کیسے خوشبو مٹے نشانی کی

لوٹنے میں لگے رہے سارے

دل پہ جس جس نے حکمرانی کی

آنسوؤں کو بھی کر دیا نیلام

آپ نے خوب مہربانی کی

ساری بستی میں آگ لگوا کر

اس نے رکھ لی دکان پانی کی

sirf aankhen hi nam nahin karta
KHubiyan aur bhi hain pani ki

aap ko nind aa rahi hai kya
ibtida hai abhi kahani ki

han chhupa kar to rakh diya lekin
kaise KHushbu miTe nishani ki

luTne mein lage rahe sare
dil pe jis jis ne hukmrani ki

aansuon ko bhi kar diya nilam

sari basti mein aag lagwa kar
