خاور نقیب

خداوندا

مری مجہول فطرت پر

منڈھی ہے کینچلی کیسی

کہ جس پر ناخن تدبیر کا جادو نہیں چلتا

سبھی آلات جراحی کو میں نے آزمایا ہے

مگر وہ کینچلی ہے ہستیٔ خود کی عجب عاشق

چپک کر رہ گئی ہے جو

مرے ٹھنڈے مساموں سے

خداوندا

مری مجہول فطرت کو

حقیقت آشنا کر دے

سراپا آئینہ کر دے

ki jis par naKHun-e-tadbir ka jadu nahin chalta
sabhi aalat-e-jarrahi ko main ne aazmaya hai
magar wo kenchuli hai hasti-e-KHud ki ajab aashiq
chipak kar rah gai hai jo
mere ThanDe masamon se
