فریب راہ سے غافل نہیں ہے

جنوں گم کردۂ منزل نہیں ہے

مری ناکامیوں پر ہنسنے والے

ترے پہلو میں شاید دل نہیں ہے

خدا کو نا خدا کہنے لگا ہوں

سفینہ طالب ساحل نہیں ہے

تری بزم طرب میں آ گیا ہوں

مگر دل کو سکوں حاصل نہیں ہے

ارے اس کی نگاہ بے خبر بھی

مرے انجام سے غافل نہیں ہے

مرے ذوق سفر کا پوچھنا کیا

نگاہوں میں مری منزل نہیں ہے

بہ فیض عشق کرب مرگ سے نقشؔ

گزر جانا کوئی مشکل نہیں ہے
