آپ سدھارا اپنا سایا چھوڑ گیا

اس کو کتنے پیڑ صدائیں دیتے تھے

وہ تو سب کو یوں ہی بلاتا چھوڑ گیا

اب تک میدانوں کے جسم چمکتے ہیں

جانے کیسی مٹی دریا چھوڑ گیا

لپٹ لپٹ کر اک دوجے سے روتے ہیں

جن پتوں کو ہوا کا جھونکا چھوڑ گیا

چاندنی‌ شب تو جس کو ڈھونڈنے آئی ہے

یہ کمرہ وہ شخص تو کب کا چھوڑ گیا

چال تھی کتنی تیز بدلتے موسم کی

کتنے ہی لمحوں کو سسکتا چھوڑ گیا

ساری منڈیریں ویراں ویراں رہتی ہے

جب سے شامؔ نگر تو اپنا چھوڑ گیا
