دیوں کو خود بجھا کر رکھ دیا ہے

محشر بدایونی

دیوں کو خود بجھا کر رکھ دیا ہے

اور الزام اب ہوا پر رکھ دیا ہے

کسی سر پر رکھا ہے ہاتھ اس نے

کسی گردن پہ خنجر رکھ دیا ہے

یہ کیا باہر سے آئی لہر جس نے

بجھا کر گھر کا منظر رکھ دیا ہے

عجب ہیں اس گلی کے دور اندیش

دیا رکھنا تھا پتھر رکھ دیا ہے

بڑے موجی نہنگان تہ آب

سمندر کو ہلا کر رکھ دیا ہے

یہ مدحت گر بھی ہیں کیا کار پرداز

زمیں کو آسماں پر رکھ دیا ہے

رکھا بچوں میں جذب رزم بھی کچھ

کھلونوں کا تو لشکر رکھ دیا ہے

حصار گرد باد اپنا ٹھکانا

اور اس کا نام بھی گھر رکھ دیا ہے

لکھے یاروں نے کچھ نکتے بھی یا پھر

فقط لفظوں کا دفتر رکھ دیا ہے

رکھا مرہم ہی گھائل انگلیوں پر

قلم کب ہم نے محشرؔ رکھ دیا ہے
