ایسے لگتا ہے کہ جیسے کچھ یہاں ہونے کو ہے

ایسے لگتا ہے کہ جیسے کچھ یہاں ہونے کو ہے

سر اٹھاتی یہ زمیں اب آسماں ہونے کو ہے

آگ تو اڑ ہی رہی تھی آندھیوں کے دوش پر

اب سروں پر بھی دھویں کا سائباں ہونے کو ہے

یہ زمیں کچھ بولتی ہے کان دھر کر تو سنو

اس کے اندر جو نہاں ہے وہ عیاں ہونے کو ہے

میں عدالت میں کھڑا ہوں فیصلے کا منتظر

میرے اعضائے بدن کا اب بیاں ہونے کو ہے

کون گدلے پانیوں میں تیر سکتا ہے یہاں

ایسی مشاقی کا اک دن امتحاں ہونے کو ہے

کھینچ تو تم نے لیا میری رگوں کا سب لہو

اب تمہاری بھی کہانی داستاں ہونے کو ہے
