صرف پرکھوں کے حوالوں سے نہیں چلتا ہے

کام مانگے کے اجالوں سے نہیں چلتا ہے

بعض اوقات اندھیروں کی طلب ہوتی ہے

کام ہر وقت اجالوں سے نہیں چلتا ہے

عشق کے بیچ میں تو عقل کہاں لے آیا

یار بزنس یہ دلالوں سے نہیں چلتا ہے

بھائی شادابؔ سنو شعر و سخن کا دفتر

صرف محبوب کے گالوں سے نہیں چلتا ہے
