اپنی ہی کیوں نہ ہو کوئی صورت دکھائی دے
ہے اس کی نیکیوں میں ابھی تک مرا شمار
بے شک وہ میرے نام ہزاروں برائی دے
اے یاد یار ساتھ ترے چل چکا بہت
میں تھک کے چورچور ہوا اب رہائی دے
میں نے ہر اک گناہ تمہارا چھپا لیا
مانے گا کون لاکھ اندھیرا صفائی دے
پھر راستوں پہ رات بھٹکتی ہے اے تپشؔ
میں اک دیا جلاؤں کہ منزل دکھائی دے
