منیب الرحمن

دن دہاڑے لفظ کو بازار میں

قتل کر ڈالا گیا

یہ خبر تم نے سنی

یہ خبر میں نے سنی

اور سن کر چپ رہے

مرنے والے کا کوئی وارث نہ تھا

اس لیے حکام نے مقتول کی بے نام لاش

مردہ گھر کو بھیج دی

پھر خدا معلوم اس کا کیا ہوا

ایک دن کچھ سر پھرے

ڈھونڈھنے نکلے لغت کے مقبرے

تو اچانک ان کو یہ کتبہ ملا

سب سے پہلے لفظ تھا

din-dahaDe lafz ko bazar mein
qatl kar Dala gaya
ye KHabar tum ne suni
ye KHabar main ne suni
aur sun kar chup rahe
marne wale ka koi waris na tha
is liye hukkaam ne maqtul ki be-nam lash
murda-ghar ko bhej di
phir KHuda malum us ka kya hua
ek din kuchh sar-phire
DhunDhne nikle lughat ke maqbare
to achanak un ko ye katba mila
sab se pahle lafz tha
