مظفر حنفی

ابو ہم کو ڈانٹ رہے تھے

اپی کو رونا آیا

تم نے جامن منگوائے تھے

لڈو کا دونا آیا

مارو گھٹنا پھوٹے آنکھ

چھٹکی اتنی بڑ مت ہانک

عرفی نے چھکا مارا تھا

گنتی کرنا بھول گئے

شیر کو دوڑایا ہاتھی نے

اور مہاوت پھول گئے

نیکی کر دریا میں ڈال

بچوں کی ضرب الامثال

چمکیلے قالین کے نیچے

کتنا کاٹھ کباڑ چھپا ہے

مرغا بیٹھا ہے انڈے میں

گٹھلی میں اک جھاڑ چھپا ہے

تل کی اوٹ پہاڑ چھپا ہے

بچوں نے بھی سن رکھا ہے

abbu hum ko DanT rahe the
appi ko rona aaya
tum ne jamun mangwae the
laDDu ka dona aaya
maro ghuTna phuTe aankh
chhuTki itni baD mat hank
urfi ne chhakka mara tha
ginti karna bhul gae
sher ko dauDaya hathi ne
aur mahawat phul gae
neki kar dariya mein Dal
bachchon ki zarb-ul-amsal
chamkile qalin ke niche
kitna kaTh kabaD chhupa hai
murgha baiTha hai anDe mein
guThli mein ek jhaD chhupa hai
til ki oT pahaD chhupa hai
bachchon ne bhi sun rakkha hai
