ہجر میں جب خیال یار آیا

لب پہ نالہ ہزار بار آیا

پھر صفائی کی کون سی صورت

آپ کے دل میں جب غبار آیا

کیجئے ذبح کھینچیے خنجر

لیجئے یہ گناہ گار آیا

بولے ٹھکرا کے میرے مرقد کو

اب تجھے کس طرح قرار آیا

تو نے حاصل نسیمؔ کچھ نہ کیا

کچھ بھی تجھ کو نہ میرے یار آیا
