شادی کے بعد

نشتر امروہوی

شادی تو ہو گئی ہے مگر اب یہ حال ہے

پاکٹ میں کوئی پیسہ نہیں بس رومال ہے

ننانوے کے پھیر میں ایسے پھنسے کہ اب

بیگم کی کوئی فکر نہ اپنا خیال ہے

تنخواہ کم ہے اور بہت گھر کا خرچ ہے

دن رات بس زبان پہ یہ ہی سوال ہے

درگت بنے ہے چائے میں بسکٹ کی جس طرح

شادی کے بعد لوگو وہی میرا حال ہے

ڈرتا ہوں یوں کہ ڈانٹ نہ پڑ جائے پھر کہیں

بیگم کی بات ٹالوں مری کیا مجال ہے

بیگم کی لعن طعن ہے اور میری شاعری

اک شعر گھر میں بیٹھ کے کہنا محال ہے

کہتی ہے مجھ سے جھونک دو چولھے میں شاعری

یہ شاعری نہیں مری سوتن چھنال ہے

shadi to ho gai hai magar ab ye haal hai
pocket mein koi paisa nahin bas rumal hai

ninnanwe ke pher mein aise phanse ki ab
begam ki koi fikr na apna KHayal hai

tanKHwah kam hai aur bahut ghar ka KHarch hai
din-raat bas zaban pe ye hi sawal hai

durgat bane hai chae mein biscuit ki jis tarah
shadi ke baad logo wahi mera haal hai

Darta hun yun ki DanT na paD jae phir kahin
begam ki baat Talun meri kya majal hai

begam ki lan-tan hai aur meri shaeri
ek sher ghar mein baiTh ke kahna muhaal hai

kahti hai mujh se jhonk do chulhe mein shaeri
ye shaeri nahin meri sautan chhinal hai
