پیالے میں جو پانی ہے

نذیر قیصر

پیالے میں جو پانی ہے

دریا کی حیرانی ہے

رات بھرے مشکیزے سے

ہم نے لو چھلکانی ہے

بس ہم دونوں زندہ ہیں

باقی دنیا فانی ہے

ہنستے مہکتے جنگل ہیں

ہری بھری ویرانی ہے

کنویں کی تہہ میں ہنستا ہوا

ایک ستارہ پانی ہے

تم نے صحرا دیکھا ہے

ہم نے ریتی چھانی ہے

نیا لباس پہن کر بھی

دنیا وہی پرانی ہے

گھر میں رات اکیلی ہے

صحن میں رات کی رانی ہے

لپٹی ہوئی دو لہریں ہیں

ٹھہری ہوئی روانی ہے
