ہنستے ہنستے وہ جو رویا

کوئی دیوانہ تھا گویا

دل کے دکھ سے دیکھو میں نے

آنکھوں کا یہ آنگن دھویا

آنسو پائے حیرت کیوں ہے

وہ کاٹا ہے جو تھا بویا

برس لگے پانے میں جس کو

اک لمحہ میں اس کو کھویا

ساری ساری رات میں جاگا

وہ میری آنکھوں میں سویا

aankhon ka ye aangan dhoya

aansu pae hairat kyun hai
wo kaTa hai jo tha boya

sari sari raat main jaga
wo meri aankhon mein soya
