دیکھتا رہتا ہے کیا ناچیز کو افلاک سے
کیوں گلہ کرتا تو اس خاک کی پوشاک سے
جو قصیدے زاہد و ملا نے تیرے گھڑ لیئے
مت توقع رکھ تو اپنے شاعر ۔ بے باک سے
ہے کمی مجھ میں کوئی تو تیری عجلت ہے سبب
نامکمل کیوں اتارا تو نے اپنے چاک سے
بے تکلف ہو گیا تھا توبہ کر لیتا ہوں میں
چل زرا سی بات کر لے بندۂ ۔ غمناک سے
