لٹے قافلے
قاضی ظہیر احمد
تری راہبری کے ہنر گئے
تری صبحتوں کے اثر گئے
جو لگا کے مجھ کو نظر گئے
وہ شکستہ پا تھے تو گھر گئے
کئی قافلے تھے گزر گئے
جو نہ جا سکے وہ ٹھہر گئے
جنہیں حوصلے تھے وہ ڈر گئے
کئی دوستی سے مکر گئے
کئی چھوڑ اپنا سفر گئے
کئی راستوں میں ہی مر گئے
جبھی راہزنوں کی خبر ملی
کئی کشتیوں سے اتر گئے
جہاں لٹ رہے تھے وہ قافلے
وہاں سر فرازوں کے سر گئے
مجھے رنج ہے پسِ چلمناں
جنہیں کچھ نہ کرنا تھا کر گئے
شبِ آرزو مجھے کیا پتہ
تجھے لانے والے کدھر گئے
