راجیندر منچندا بانی

یہ رات ہے کہ حرف و ہنر کا زیاں کدہ

اظہار اپنے آپ میں مہمل ہوئے تمام

اب میں ہوں اور لمحۂ لاہوت کا سفیر

محو دعا ہوا مرے اندر کوئی فقیر

سینے پہ کیسا بوجھ ہے ہوتا نہیں سبک

ہونٹوں کے زاویوں میں پھنسا ہے ''خدا...خدا''

کیا لفظ ہے کہ جیبھ سے ہوتا نہیں ادا

کمزور ہاتھ ہیں کہ نہیں اٹھتے سوئے بام

اظہار اپنے آپ میں زائل ہوئے تمام

صرف آنکھ ہے کہ دیکھتی ہے چاند نصف گول

اے خامشی کی شاخ پہ بیٹھے پرند... بول

ye raat hai ki harf-o-hunar ka ziyan-kada
izhaar apne-ap mein mohmal hue tamam
ab main hun aur lamha-e-lahut ka safir
mahw-e-dua hua mere andar koi faqir
sine pe kaisa bojh hai hota nahin subuk
honTon ke zawiyon mein phansa hai KHudaKHuda
kya lafz hai ki jibh se hota nahin ada
kamzor hath hain ki nahin uThte su-e-baam
izhaar apne aap mein zail hue tamam
sirf aankh hai ki dekhti hai chand nisf gol
ai KHamushi ki shaKH pe baiThe parind bol
