کون مجھے یہ سمجھائے گا

خوشبو کے پیچھے مت بھاگو

اس کی منزل کوئی نہیں ہے

شام کی حد سے دور نہ دیکھو

رنگوں کی دہلیز سے آگے

کچھ بھی نہیں ہے

اندھیارے کی ساری راہیں

بھیدوں کے جنگل کی جانب جاتی ہیں

دور ہی دور سے ان جانی آوازیں

مجھ کو اپنے پاس بلاتی ہیں

خوشبو کے پیچھے ہی پیچھے

میں کس دیس میں آ نکلا ہوں

اک بوجھل سی لاش کے مانند

آوازوں کے اس ساگر میں

ڈوب گیا ہوں

KHushbu ke pichhe mat bhago
us ki manzil koi nahin hai
sham ki had se dur na dekho
rangon ki dahliz se aage
kuchh bhi nahin hai

andhiyare ki sari rahen
bhedon ke jangal ki jaanib jati hain
dur hi dur se an-jaani aawazen
mujh ko apne pas bulati hain

KHushbu ke pichhe hi pichhe
main kis des mein aa nikla hun
ek bojhal si lash ke manind
aawazon ke is sagar mein
Dub gaya hun
