چشم تر ہے کوئی سراب نہیں
درد دل اب کوئی عذاب نہیں
کیسے اس بات پر یقیں کر لوں
تو حقیقت ہے کوئی خواب نہیں
موسم گل کا ذکر رہنے دے
یہ مری بات کا جواب نہیں
تو اگر غم سے اجنبی ہے تو
حال اپنا بھی اب خراب نہیں
مان لیتا ہوں میں نہیں مجنوں
تیرا رخ بھی تو ماہتاب نہیں
کیا کروں حسن کا تصور اب
تیرے چہرے پہ جب نقاب نہیں
دیر پہچاننے میں پل بھر کی
یہ کوئی باعث اضطراب نہیں
عمر گزری ہے معذرت کرتے
غفلتیں میری بے حساب نہیں

der pahchanne mein pal bhar ki
ye koi bais-e-iztirab nahin
umr guzri hai mazarat karte
ghaflaten meri be-hisab nahin
