زمیں چلائی چیخی بلبلا کے
نہ جوں تک رینگی کانوں پر خدا کے
میں تیرے قہر کے صدقے خدایا
ادھورے رہ گئے جملے دعا کے
کریدے راکھ ڈھونڈے خاک کوئی
سبھی ناپید ہے جب جل جلا کے
تمنا آرزو ارمان حسرت
پرندے اڑ گئے پر پھڑپھڑا کے
پڑی ہے زندگی ڈھانپے لپیٹے
فنا دوڑے پھرے ہے دندنا کے
پھٹا مجھ میں پھٹا آتش فشاں پھر
ہیں سینے میں دھماکوں پر دھماکے

paDi hai zindagi Dhanpe lapeTe
fana dauDe phire hai dandana ke
phaTa mujh mein phaTa aatish-fishan phir
hain sine mein dhamakon par dhamake
