آ جاؤ کہ ہم راہ تری دیکھ رہے ہیں
آؤ گے تو پھر رات کبھی ختم نہ ہوگی
وعدہ یہ کرو مجھ سے ملاقات یہ تیری
تا عمر ملاقات کبھی ختم نہ ہوگی
کہتے تھے کہ ہم شازیہؔ تیرے ہیں ترے ہیں
ماضی کی وہ بارات کبھی ختم نہ ہوگی

wada ye karo mujh se mulaqat ye teri
ta-umr mulaqat kabhi KHatm na hogi
kahte the ki hum 'shaziya' tere hain tere hain
mazi ki wo baraat kabhi KHatm na hogi
