لہجہ ایسا کہ جیسے دھن ہے میاں

بات کرنے کا اس کو گن ہے میاں

ایک ہی لفظ کافی ہوتا ہے

اور دلیل اس کی لفظ کن ہے میاں

میں بظاہر دکھوں گا اچھا بھلا

مگر اندر سے جسم سن ہے میاں

کچھ بھی اچھا نہیں ہوا مرے ساتھ

زندگی ساری بد شگن ہے میاں
