دل دھڑکتا ہے مبادا اٹھ کے دیوے گالیاں

یار سوتا ہے مرا اس کو جگاؤں کس طرح

بلبلوں کے حال پر آتا ہے مج کو رحم آج

دام سے صیاد کے ان کو چھڑاؤں کس طرح

یار بانکا ہے مرا چھٹ تیغ نئیں کرتا ہے بات

اس سے اے تاباںؔ میں اپنا جی بچاؤں کس طرح
