دلوں میں بغض کے خانے نہ ہوتے
تنویر گوہر
دلوں میں بغض کے خانے نہ ہوتے
تو اپنے لوگ بیگانے نہ ہوتے
وفا کو ڈھونڈتی پھرتی یہ دنیا
اگر ہم جیسے دیوانے نہ ہوتے
نہ ہم کو غم اگر آتا میسر
تو لطف زندگی جانے نہ ہوتے
کہاں تھا ہم سے رندوں کا ٹھکانہ
اگر بستی میں مے خانے نہ ہوتے
نہ لٹتے ہم اگر یارو لٹیرے
ہمارے جانے پہچانے نہ ہوتے
کہاں ہم بوجھ دل کا کرتے ہلکا
جو رونے کو ترے شانے نہ ہوتے
زبان حال پر اچھا تھا گوہرؔ
اگر ماضی کے افسانے نہ ہوتے

agar hum jaise diwane na hote
na hum ko gham agar aata mayassar
to lutf-e-zindagi jaane na hote
kahan tha hum se rindon ka Thikana
agar basti mein mai-KHane na hote
na luTte hum agar yaro luTere
hamare jaane-pahchane na hote
kahan hum bojh dil ka karte halka
jo rone ko tere shane na hote
zaban-e-haal par achchha tha 'gauhar'
agar mazi ke afsane na hote
