یہ بھلا کیسی انکساری ہے

عمر فرحت

یہ بھلا کیسی انکساری ہے

زندگی خاک میں گزاری ہے

اس نے جھیلا ہے یہ پہاڑ سا دن

ہم نے آنکھوں میں شب گزاری ہے

رات کیسے مری بسر ہوگی

جب کہ یہ شام اتنی بھاری ہے

دل کے جنگل میں ہیں اکیلے ہم

اس پہ یہ رات بھی شکاری ہے

بعد تیرے سمجھ نہیں آتا

کس طرح کی یہ اشک باری ہے

جس کو دیکھوں اسے پکارتا ہوں

مجھ پہ اک اسم کی خماری ہے

تم جنہیں اشک کہہ رہے ہو عمرؔ

وہ محبت کی ریز گاری ہے

zindagi KHak mein guzari hai

us ne jhela hai ye pahaD sa din
hum ne aankhon mein shab guzari hai

raat kaise meri basar hogi
jab ki ye sham itni bhaari hai

dil ke jangal mein hain akele hum
us pe ye raat bhi shikari hai

baad tere samajh nahin aata
kis tarah ki ye ashk-bari hai

jis ko dekhun use pukarta hun
mujh pe ek ism ki KHumari hai

tum jinhen ashk kah rahe ho 'umar'
wo mohabbat ki rezgari hai
