اوروں کے خیالوں میں اپنا ہی خسارہ ہے

انداز ہمارا بس انداز ہمارا ہے

ٹوٹے ہوئے بیجوں سے گلشن کو نکھارا ہے

جب بھی ہے پڑی مشکل خود کو ہی پکارا ہے

نا جانے یہ سایہ بھی کس طرف اشارا ہے

اس طرف ہمارا ہے اُس طرف تمہارا ہے

مشکل ہمیں لگتا ہے خود اپنے پہ کچھ لکھنا

نا جانے ہمیں کس نے اس طرف ابھارا ہے

اک پھول کو چاہا ہے مانگا ہے دعاؤں میں

اس اک کے علاوہ باقی سب سے کنارا ہے

اک دنیا خیالی ہے مالک ہیں جہاں کے ہم

اُس دنیا میں اک دلبر کی یاد سہارا ہے
