اک سکوں ہے کہ محبت تو کی تھی

اب فراق میں مَر بھی جاؤں تو کیا

اب تو بے اثر ہر دوا ہے مجھ پر

دو گھڑی اور بھی جی لیا تو کیا

میرا تو سب لُٹ چکا تیری رہبری میں

یاد تو ملی، وفا اگر نہ ملی تو کیا

کوئلوں پہ چلنا پڑا تیری مسکان کے عِوض

باسبب دھول ہے تیری چشمِ نم تو کیا

اب وہ آئیں تو پلٹ کر نہ دیکھ عبید

عمر تو گزری، موت بھی قضاء ہوئی تو کیا
