سوچا تم میرے کیا ہو کچھ بھی تو نہیں

اور ہمارے رشتے کا نام کچھ بھی تو نہیں

ہاں مگر سنو ایک رشتہ تو ہے ہمارا

نام، احساس کے سوا کچھ بھی تو نہیں

محبت بھی ہے قدر بھی جذبات بھی

تعلق اس کے سوا اور کچھ بھی تو نہیں

سچ ہے محبت بھی تم سے کمال کی ہے

اور منزل کا پتہ ہم کو کچھ بھی تو نہیں

انداز بیاں تمہارا بہترین ہے برملا

تمہاری آواز سے رسیلا، کچھ بھی تو نہیں

تم سے ملتا ہوں تو خوش ہوتا ہوں

تم سے ملنے کی وجہ کچھ بھی تو نہیں

تم اچھی ہو خوبصورت بھی معصوم بھی

تمہیں جاننا اس کے سوا کچھ بھی تو نہیں

کاش کے روابط، یوں ہی رہیں برقرار

ورنہ اس دنیا میں رکھا کچھ بھی تو نہیں

آرزوں کی فہرست تھامے کھڑے ہیں لوگ

ہمیں آرزو اک دعا کے سوا کچھ بھی تو نہیں

ایک تیرے سکون کی دعا کی ہر گھڑی، اکثر

تیری خوشحالی سے آگے رہا کچھ بھی تو نہیں

بس ایک تمہاری مسکان سے سروکار ہمیں

اس کے سوا مانگا خدا سے کچھ بھی تو نہیں

ابھی تو شاید ابتدا ہے محبت کی

انجام کی پڑی ہے کیا کچھ بھی تو نہیں

قابل رشک ہیں وہ جن کو میسر ہو تم

ہمیں بس یاد ملی اور ملا کچھ بھی تو نہیں

قسمت کا دھنی ہے عبید اس قدر کہ

محبت کمائی ہے، اور کیا کچھ بھی تو نہیں
