آسی رام نگری

سر جھکائے سر محشر جو گنہ گار آئے

اس کے انداز پہ رحمت کو نہ کیوں پیار آئے

جام و پیمانہ سے مے خانہ سے کیا کام اسے

ہو کے ساقی کی نگاہوں سے جو سرشار آئے

دی صدا دل نے ذرا اور بھی دشوار ہو راہ

راستے جب بھی مرے سامنے ہموار آئے

زندگی کیوں نہ مرے موت پہ ان کی جو لوگ

مسکراتے ہوئے زنداں سے سر دار آئے

میں نے تزئین چمن کے لئے خوں اپنا دیا

پائے پھول اوروں نے حصے میں مرے خار آئے

بانکپن اپنی طبیعت کا کبھی کم نہ ہوا

سامنے اپنے کوئی لاکھ طرح دار آئے

ایسے جاں بازوں کی بن جائے نہ کیوں موت حیات

مسکراتے ہوئے آسیؔ جو سر دار آئے
