ہم بزرگوں سے ڈرنے والے ہیں

ہم بزرگوں سے ڈرنے والے ہیں

واقعۃً بچھڑنے والے ہیں

رات ہوتے ہی نیند آتی ہے

یعنی سب خواب مرنے والے ہیں

وہ بھی خود کو سدھار بیٹھی ہے

اور ہم بھی سدھرنے والے ہیں

کوئی امکان تو نہیں پھر بھی

اس گلی سے گزرنے والے ہیں

میری دہلیز سے اڑے جگنو

تیری چوکھٹ پہ مرنے والے ہیں

عشق نقصان اٹھائے گا احمدؔ

آپ ہم سے مکرنے والے ہیں

yani sab KHwab marne wale hain

koi imkan to nahin phir bhi
us gali se guzarne wale hain

meri dahliz se aDe jugnu
teri chaukhaT pe marne wale hain
