لہو کی آگ اگر جلتی رہے گی

ہماری دال بھی گلتی رہے گی

بھروسا ہے اگر دنیا کو ہم پر

ہمارے رنگ میں ڈھلتی رہے گی

محبت ہے اگر سچی ہماری

متاع خواب پر پلتی رہے گی

چمن اب دیر تک رقصاں رہے گا

ہوا اب دیر تک چلتی رہے گی

کہاں آئے گی اپنے وقت پر موت

وہ اگلے روز پر ٹلتی رہے گی

جہاں میں سرخ رو ہو کر بھی ساجدؔ

وہ ہاتھوں کو یونہی ملتی رہے گی
