ایک پرواز دکھائی دی ہے

تیری آواز سنائی دی ہے

صرف اک صفحہ پلٹ کر اس نے

ساری باتوں کی صفائی دی ہے

پھر وہیں لوٹ کے جانا ہوگا

یار نے کیسی رہائی دی ہے

جس کی آنکھوں میں کٹی تھیں صدیاں

اس نے صدیوں کی جدائی دی ہے

زندگی پر بھی کوئی زور نہیں

دل نے ہر چیز پرائی دی ہے

آگ میں کیا کیا جلا ہے شب بھر

کتنی خوش رنگ دکھائی دی ہے
