ایک پرانا خط کھولا انجانے میں

شام کے سائے بالشتوں سے ناپے ہیں

چاند نے کتنی دیر لگا دی آنے میں

رات گزرتے شاید تھوڑا وقت لگے

دھوپ انڈیلو تھوڑی سی پیمانے میں

جانے کس کا ذکر ہے اس افسانے میں

درد مزے لیتا ہے جو دہرانے میں

دل پر دستک دینے کون آ نکلا ہے

کس کی آہٹ سنتا ہوں ویرانے میں

ہم اس موڑ سے اٹھ کر اگلے موڑ چلے

ان کو شاید عمر لگے گی آنے میں
