غم دل ہی غم دوراں غم جانانہ بنتا ہے

کلیم عاجز

غم دل ہی غم دوراں غم جانانہ بنتا ہے

یہی غم شعر بنتا ہے یہی افسانہ بنتا ہے

اسی سے گرمیٔ دار و رسن ہے انقلابوں میں

بہاروں میں یہی زلف و قد جانانہ بنتا ہے

سروں کے خم صراحی گردنوں کی جام زخموں کے

مہیا جب یہ ہو لیتے ہیں تب مے خانہ بنتا ہے

بگڑتا کیا ہے پروانے کا جل کر خاک ہونے میں

کہ پھر پروانے ہی کی خاک سے پروانہ بنتا ہے

نگاہ کم سے میری چاک دامانی کو مت دیکھو

ہزاروں ہوشیاروں میں کوئی دیوانہ بنتا ہے

خریدا جا نہیں سکتا ہے ساقی ظرف رندوں کا

بہت شیشے پگھلتے ہیں تو اک پیمانہ بنتا ہے

مرے ہی دونوں ہاتھ آتے ہیں کام ان کے سنورنے میں

دکھاتا ہے کوئی آئینہ کوئی شانہ بنتا ہے

بڑا سرمایہ ہے سب کچھ لٹا دینا محبت میں

فقیرانہ لباس آتے ہیں دل شاہانہ بنتا ہے
