نہ جانے کدھر راستا لے گیا

پڑا تھا کہ بیکار کی چیز تھا

کوئی دے کے مجھ کو شعور حیات

مرا دور صبر آزما لے گیا

گدا لے گیا کب مرے در سے بھیک

صدا میرے لب کی چرا لے گیا

نہ پامال ہونے دیا صبر نے

گرے آنسوؤں کو اٹھا لے گیا

خرد ڈھونڈھتی رہ گئی وجہ غم

مزا غم کا درد آشنا لے گیا
