اب وہ کہتے ہیں مدعا کہیے

سوچتا ہوں کہ نقشؔ کیا کہیے

زندگی زندگی سے روٹھ گئی

ہائے اب کس کو آشنا کہیے

ہے تغافل کا کیوں گلہ ان سے

آہ سوزاں کو نارسا کہیے

اپنی کشتی تو ڈوب ہی جاتی

عزم محکم کو ناخدا کہیے

تھرتھراہٹ حیا کی اس رخ پر

رقص نیرنگیٔ صبا کہیے

کھوئی کھوئی ہیں دھڑکنیں دل کی

پھر محبت کی ابتدا کہیے

اتفاقاً یہ آپ کا ملنا

ایک رنگین حادثہ کہیے

نا شناس الم ہو جو ہستی

سچ تو یہ ہے کہ بے مزا کہیے

دشمن جاں تو دشمن جاں ہے

غمگساروں کو نقشؔ کیا کہیے
